A locked, high, wooden gate at the back leads to the walled courtyard garden and there is a rosemary and lavender hedge to the road-front.

The house is accessed from the pavement leading up steps to the front door.

Hallway
The front door leads into the generous entrance hallway with a cubby for coats and shoes.

The staircase to the first floor is ahead of you, and doors lead off to the right to the sitting room and dining kitchen.

Sitting room
A book-lined room with seating for 8, a woodburning stove, boardgames, 55” Smart TV with Netflix, Nintendo Switch, original Victorian shutters and views to the front through the large sash window towards the ancient St Denys Church across the road and with floor-to-ceiling windows to the side looking to the car parking area with streetscape beyond.

Back inside and accessed from the hallway is the dining kitchen with floor to ceiling windows (with original Victorian shutters) looking out onto the garden.

There is a big, old farmhouse dining table with chairs for 8, an electric range cooker with 2 ovens, separate grill and induction hobs, a microwave, bean-to-cup coffee machine (beans provided), double belfast sink, dishwasher, plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware, pots and pans, salt, pepper and a selection of herbs and spices.

A door leads to the pantry with additional food storage space, washing machine, drying rack and tumble dryer.
